Chanwoo Park

Chanwoo Park is Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Director of the Heat Transfer/Sustainable Energy Laboratory at University of Missouri. His research develops advanced cooling technologies for energy-intensive applications.

DOE-funded COOLERCHIPS project creates hybrid two-phase cooling for data centers, reducing energy consumption by 40%. Additional work explores supercritical CO2 systems for aerospace thermal management.

Honors include NSF CAREER Award and ASME Fellowship. Park's industry collaborations include Hyundai and NASA for sustainable thermal solutions.
