Chantal MARLATS

Chantal MARLATS is a Full Professor at Université de Tours and concurrently holds an Assistant Professor position at University Paris-Panthéon-Assas. She serves as a researcher fellow at LEO laboratory and is affiliated with the Laboratory of Mathematical Economics and Applied Microeconomics (LEMMA). Since 2022, she has been a Junior Member of the prestigious Institut Universitaire de France (IUF).

She earned her Doctor of Economic Sciences and Master in Economics from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne. Her research focuses on dynamic game theory with applications in R&D and epidemiology, exploring strategic decision-making under uncertainty. Recent work examines investment dynamics in technology development and behavioral responses during epidemics.

MARLATS' publications demonstrate consistent focus on stochastic games, reputation mechanisms, and economic epidemiology. Her 2021 articles cluster around modeling observation delays, strategic experimentation, and pandemic responses, showing strong integration of theoretical frameworks with applied contexts like COVID-19.
