Christina KATT-PAWLOWITSCH serves as an Assistant Professor in Applied Mathematics at Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, where she is affiliated with the Laboratory of Mathematical Economics and Applied Microeconomics (LEMMA). Her research bridges mathematical economics, evolutionary game theory, and linguistic communication, focusing on how signaling systems emerge and evolve in strategic contexts.

Her research program centers on evolutionary game theory with particular emphasis on signaling games, costly signaling dynamics, and strategic communication. She investigates how communication systems evolve in finite populations, why evolutionary processes don't always yield optimal signaling, and the structural properties of mathematical writing.
