Chang Liu is a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Candidate in Human Geography at the University of Birmingham's School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences. Their research focuses on urban and regional dynamics, particularly the engagement of internal migrants with public spaces in Chinese cities, exploring how public spaces address social tensions arising from rural-urban migration. They hold an MSci from the University of Birmingham (2018) and are completing a PhD at Durham University (2023).
