Chang He

Dr. Chang He is a Professor of Environmental Sciences at Guangdong University of Technology and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences, University of Queensland. His research focuses on evaluating human exposure to organic pollutants using environmental monitoring and human biomonitoring strategies.

Dr. He's research interests include:

• Organophosphate esters, chlorinated paraffins, and phthalates
• PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) analysis
• Wastewater-based epidemiology

Dr. He has published extensively on environmental contaminants, with recent work (2023-2025) focusing on antimicrobial agents in Australian wastewater, chlorinated paraffins in various environmental matrices across Pakistan, PFAS in indoor environments, and biomonitoring of exposure to organic pollutants. His research demonstrates strong international collaboration across Australia, China, Pakistan, and Vietnam, with particular expertise in developing analytical methods for emerging contaminants and applying wastewater analysis for public health monitoring.
