Chandan Acharya is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Chazanoff School of Business, College of Staten Island (CUNY). He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of North Texas, an MBA in Global Business Leadership from Johnson & Wales University, and a BBA in Marketing and Finance from Pokhara University. His research focuses on knowledge management, innovation management, and organizational learning, with a particular emphasis on B2B service supply chains and information systems. His work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Knowledge Management, International Journal of Information Management, and Industrial Marketing Management.
Key research themes include knowledge transfer mechanisms, innovation speed, supply chain resilience, and boundary spanning objects. He explores how organizations navigate environmental turbulence through adaptive strategies and modular processes. His recent studies address challenges in system dependence under increasing novelty and the role of fluid partnering in service supply chains.
Prof. Acharya’s publications consistently address interdisciplinary topics at the intersection of management, operations, and information systems. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in B2B service contexts, emphasizing the interplay between organizational learning, leadership, and supply chain dynamics.
