Chaitra Badve

Chaitra Badve is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She is also a member of the Cancer Imaging Program at the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Her external appointments include serving as a Physician in the Department of Radiology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and as Clinical Director of MRI at University Hospitals.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on developing non-invasive imaging biomarkers for accurate brain tumor diagnosis, recurrence detection, and treatment response monitoring. Key projects involve:

• Advancing perfusion and permeability imaging techniques
• Hybrid imaging (PET/CT and PET/MR) applications
• Clinical implementation of Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF) for glioblastoma diagnosis and monitoring
• Multi-parametric quantitative imaging marker analysis
