Chaim Saiman is a Professor of Law at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, holding the Gruss Visiting Professorship in Talmudic Law. He specializes in Jewish law, insurance law, and private law, with notable works including Halakhah: The Rabbinic Idea of Law. Currently serving as a rabbinical court judge (dayyan) at the Beth Din of America and an expert witness in federal court.
Education includes a BS from Georgia State University, JD from Columbia Law School, and advanced studies at Yeshivat Har-Etzion and Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh in Israel.
