Chaden Djalali is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Ohio University's College of Arts and Sciences. He is affiliated with the Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics (INPP) and conducts research at the Edwards Accelerator Laboratory on the Athens Campus.
His primary research focuses on experimental nuclear and particle physics, involving studies of subatomic particles and nuclear interactions using accelerator-based experiments. His work contributes to the broader fields of high energy physics and fundamental symmetries in nature.
Dr. Djalali is a member of the Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics (INPP), which supports collaborative research in nuclear structure, reactions, and hadronic physics. His laboratory work is central to experimental efforts in probing the strong force and nucleon structure.
He earned his Ph.D. from Université Paris Sud-Orsay, France in 1981, followed by a Thèse d’État (a higher doctorate in the French system) from the same institution in 1985. These advanced degrees established his expertise in experimental physics early in his career.
Dr. Djalali maintains an active academic role with no indication of part-time status, retirement, or emeritus position. He can be contacted via email at djalali@ohio.edu.
