Nikos Sparveris is the Bruce Taggart Professor of Physics at Temple University, leading experimental research in nuclear and particle physics. He holds a PhD from the University of Athens (2002) and has held postdoctoral positions at the Institute of Accelerating Systems & Applications (IASA) and MIT. His work focuses on hadron and nucleon structure, with leadership roles in experiments at Jefferson Lab, MAMI, and PSI. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed articles, mentored 7 PhD students, and organized conferences like Low-Q-2023.

Research interests include proton and neutron structure, polarizabilities, transition form factors, and charge radius measurements. His group currently leads three Jefferson Lab experiments and contributes to the MUSE experiment at PSI. Awards include the Bruce Taggart Professorship (2023) and Dean’s Distinguished Excellence in Research Award (2022).
