Chad Sosolik is a Professor at Clemson University with joint appointments in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Physics and Astronomy within the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences. His research focuses on nanometer and atomic-scale interactions using advanced microscopy and energy beamline techniques.
- Ph.D., Physics, Cornell University (2001)
- M.S., Physics, Cornell University (1998)
- B.S., Physics, Texas A&M University (1995)
Research interests include gas-surface interactions, scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy, and atomic diffusion studies. Key projects involve hyperthermal ion scattering analysis and Schottky diode device modifications under ion impacts.
