Ceri Morris

Dr Ceri Morris is a Senior Lecturer in Educational Development at Cardiff University, based in Academic and Student Support Services. She leads the Cardiff University Senior Fellowship Programme, accredited by Advance HE, and contributes to inclusive education initiatives across the university.

Her research and teaching focus on higher education, inclusive pedagogy, inclusive assessment and feedback, and disability in education. She is particularly interested in the experiences of visually impaired students and sensory ethnography in educational contexts.

Her recent publications explore inclusive assessment processes and the sensory dimensions of education for disabled learners. These works reflect a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in higher education practices.

Dr Morris is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and a qualified teacher with a PGCE (PCET). She holds a Master’s in Social Science Research Methods and a PhD in Inclusive Education from Cardiff University.

She teaches learning and teaching theory, practice, and reflection to both academic and professional services staff across the university. As part of the Inclusive Education Project, she co-constructs professional learning with schools, develops asynchronous resources, and leads a CPD workshop series on inclusive education available to all Cardiff University staff.

She previously served as a Lecturer in Education and PGCE PCET in the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University and led fellowship and inclusion programs at Cardiff Metropolitan University before returning to Cardiff University’s Learning and Teaching Academy.

Dr Morris is available for postgraduate supervision in the areas of inclusive education, disability in education, and higher education.
