Ceri Bradshaw is a Lecturer in Psychology at Swansea University, affiliated with the School of Psychology within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences. She holds a PhD in Behaviour Analysis from Swansea University, with prior degrees including a BA in Psychology, a PG Dip in Substance Abuse, and an MPhil in Substance Misuse.
Her research focuses on substance misuse, behavioral addiction, and learning mechanisms. Key areas include opioid use disorder treatment barriers, reinforcement schedules, and screen addiction impacts. She has contributed to studies on overdose demographics, healthcare utilization, and nightmare-related neurophysiology.
Recent publications (2020–2023) address opioid-related health outcomes, treatment retention challenges, and emotional processing in nightmare sufferers. She actively supervises postgraduate research, including PhD projects on opioid treatment and wellbeing interventions.
Bradshaw teaches modules on qualitative methods, statistical research, and brain-behavior relationships. She emphasizes ethical research practices and reproducibility in student projects.
