Ceren Kasim

Dr. Ceren Kasim is a postdoctoral research and teaching fellow at the University of Hildesheim's Institute for Social and Organizational Pedagogy. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Göttingen, an M.A. from Humboldt University of Berlin, and a B.A. in Law from Ankara University, alongside being a qualified attorney-at-law.

Her research focuses on legal theory, international law, human rights, labor law, and anti-discrimination law, with notable publications on human rights in the workplace, discrimination protection, remote work, and gender-based violence. She has received significant grants from the Hans Böckler Foundation, Turkish Young Talented Researchers Program, DAAD, and ISLSSL.

Dr. Kasim actively contributes to interdisciplinary projects like the SOBIS Wissenschaftsraum (2024-2027), focusing on social and organizational pedagogy infrastructure, and participates in the JuPaCo research initiative studying psychosocial long-term effects of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic on young people.
