معرفی
Cecília Hustá is a Research Fellow in the Department of Psychology of Language at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, where she investigates neural and cognitive mechanisms underlying real-time language coordination in dialogue. Her work examines how attention and prediction shape the balance between comprehension and production processes during spontaneous conversation.
Her primary research interests include:
- Psycholinguistics
- Cognitive Neuroscience
- Language Processing
- Attention and Prediction
- EEG Research
- Working Memory
- Conceptual and Lexical Retrieval
Methodologically, she combines behavioral experiments with EEG techniques including RIFT to study entropy-based uncertainty in language processing. Her doctoral research explored context effects on conceptual/lexical retrieval under Linda Drijvers and Antje Meyer's supervision, and attentional modulation of pupillary responses with Sebastiaan Mathôt.
Academic service includes serving as PhD representative, teaching courses on R programming and Open Science, leading EEG artifact workshops, co-organizing the 2022 IMPRS conference, and contributing to the TalkLing blog platform.
She can be reached at Cecilia.Husta@mpi.nl or +31 24 3521375.
