Cecilia Frida Natalini is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento, specializing in medieval and modern legal history with a focus on canon law. She holds a law degree from the University of Siena (1987) and has extensive teaching experience across Italian universities including Rome Tor Vergata, Calabria, and Reggio Calabria.
Her research emphasizes the origins of fair legal processes, medieval constitutional guarantees, and the textual development of Gratian's Decretum. She is affiliated with the Italian Society of Legal History, the Iuris Canonici Medii Aevi Consociatio (ICMAC), and the Romagna Studies Society.
Prof. Natalini has served on academic committees, including examiner roles for bar exams and research grant panels. Her teaching portfolio includes courses on medieval/modern legal history, Italian legal history, and canonical law at the undergraduate and doctoral levels.
