She returned to Argentina with a CONICET return fellowship, securing tenure and promotion to Professor at the National University of Córdoba before moving to UdelaR in 2024.
- Education:
- PhD in Physics, University of Buenos Aires (2009)
- Master's in Physics, University of Buenos Aires (2005)
Research focuses on quantum optics, quantum information, trapped ions, and open quantum systems. Key interests include ion dynamics in optical cavities, composite boson systems, and quantum phase transitions. Recent work explores optomechanical transitions and noise-induced phenomena in trapped ion systems.
Publications span leading journals like Physical Review Letters and New Journal of Physics, emphasizing experimental theory and numerical simulations. Collaborations include international groups in Germany, Austria, and the U.S., with a focus on quantum control and many-body systems.
Professional activities include teaching at UBA and postdoctoral mentorship. Current research integrates theoretical modeling with experimental quantum technologies, targeting advancements in quantum simulation and precision measurements.
