Cathy Engstrom

Cathy Engstrom is an Associate Professor and Faculty Director for Graduate Studies at Syracuse University. Her work focuses on higher education administration, particularly addressing the success of underprepared students through learning communities, collaborative learning strategies, and student-academic affairs partnerships.

Engstrom has held significant roles in professional associations, including chairing ACPA's Commission on Professional Preparation, serving on the Journal of College Student Development editorial board, and leading NASPA's Research Division. She has also contributed to conference programming through the 2007 Joint ACPA-NASPA Meeting Program Committee.
