Dr. Cathryn Mellersh is a Principal Investigator at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Cambridge, and leads the Canine Genetics Centre. Her research focuses on identifying the genetic basis of inherited canine diseases, particularly ocular and neurological disorders, with the goal of developing selective breeding tools to reduce disease incidence in purebred dogs and advancing veterinary diagnostics.
