Catherine Stinson is an Assistant Professor and Queen’s National Scholar in Philosophical Implications of Artificial Intelligence at Queen's University. She holds joint appointments in the School of Computing and the Philosophy Department, blending technical and philosophical expertise to address ethical challenges in AI.

Dr. Stinson's research focuses on methodological and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence, including:

Her recent publications analyze corporate influence in NLP, privacy implications of large language models, and documentation practices in AI datasets. They explore intersections between technical performance, ethical responsibility, and societal impact.
