Donald Scott Stinson is a Lecturer of Music at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami. He teaches composition, orchestration, counterpoint, and music theory, while actively contributing to contemporary classical music through innovative compositions.

His research explores Arabic influences on Western musical culture and the effects of modern electronic media on cognition.
