Benjamin Kirtman is Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School. He holds the William R Middelthon III Endowed Chair of Earth Sciences and serves as Director of the Cooperative Institute for Marine & Atmospheric Studies (CIMAS) and Deputy Director of the Frost Institute for Data Science and Computing. His research specializes in climate modeling, predictability, and weather-climate interactions.
