Catherine St-Pierre is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMSS) of the Université de Sherbrooke, currently serving as Faculty Secretary in the FMSS leadership team effective July 2025. Previously, she led the Department of General Internal Medicine from 2020-2024, where her team served as a critical resource for CIUSSS de l'Estrie – CHUS during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Research and Clinical Focus: Dr. St-Pierre specializes in Internal Medicine and Critical Care systems optimization, with deep expertise in medical education curriculum development. Her career demonstrates sustained commitment to clinical teaching innovation, evidenced by her leadership in establishing the Interdepartmental Critical Care Service (2008-2012) to enhance cross-departmental training alignment. She actively shapes healthcare quality through committee work on Resuscitation, Quality of Care, and Examination Standards.
Academic Leadership: As Faculty Secretary, she oversees official documentation, regulation implementation, student dossier management, academic calendar coordination, and information access requests. Her operational responsibilities include welcoming new faculty members and supporting program integration activities across the FMSS ecosystem.
