Catherine Seeds is a Senior Lecturer in the Integrated Land Management Department at Scotland's Rural College (SRUC). She has served SRUC since 2012, initially as a lecturer in Countryside Management and later expanding her role to become Programme Team Leader for Wildlife and Conservation Management, overseeing curriculum development, staff management, and student experience. Her teaching focuses on biodiversity conservation, habitat management, species identification, and marine ecology.

She holds a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and completed the Advanced Leadership Programme.
Recent research outputs include cross-country studies in organic farming training, focusing on mobile learning, distance education, and professional development. She was nominated for the THE Most Innovative Teacher Award (2021) and contributes to SRUC's Centre for Enhanced Learning and Teaching through peer observations and digital mentoring.
