Catherine Robbins is an Associate Professor at the Desautels Faculty of Music, University of Manitoba, specializing in choral studies and vocal pedagogy. She serves as Director of the UM Concert Choir and Co-Director of the fikamusik Summer Choral Conducting Intensive.

Her research focuses on collaborative self-study, life history methodologies, and Indigenous artist partnerships, including projects like 'Toward a Choral Métissage' with Cree composer Andrew Balfour. She emphasizes anatomical awareness and somatic techniques for healthy singing.
Robbins contributes to scholarly discourse as an Editorial Board member of Anacrusis: The Official Journal of Choral Canada and holds leadership roles in the Manitoba Choral Association and Manitoba Music Educators’ Association.
