Catherine Patrick serves as an Occupational Therapy Lecturer Practitioner at Anglia Ruskin University within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care and School of Allied Health and Social Care. An HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with 15 years of NHS clinical experience, she specializes in mental health across forensic inpatient and community settings.
Her educational qualifications include:
- BA in American Studies, University of Nottingham
- MSc in Occupational Therapy, University of East Anglia
- Post-Graduate Certificate of Teaching and Learning (in progress), Anglia Ruskin University
Research focuses on occupational therapy workforce wellbeing and role emerging placements, driven by her forensic/community mental health background. She investigates factors improving staff retention and explores student experiences in non-traditional occupational therapy settings.
