Catherine Lassen is a Senior Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Sydney's School of Architecture, Design and Planning. Her work bridges modern Australian architectural history with contemporary practice, emphasizing representation and sustainable design. She co-authored key publications on architects Glenn Murcutt and Hugh Buhrich, including a monograph on Murcutt’s drawings and a book on Buhrich’s modernist legacy.
Her research explores architectural history, material innovation, and heritage conservation. Notable projects include designing site-specific furniture for Yoko Ono’s art installations and co-curating exhibitions such as Thinking Drawing / Working Drawing in Tokyo.
