Hannes Frykholm is a Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Sydney's School of Architecture Design & Planning. He holds a PhD from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, with a thesis on urban-architectural interfaces. His expertise spans interior urbanism, housing architecture, and free space design in high-density cities. Previously practicing architecture in Sweden for over a decade, he served as the Rothwell Chair Postdoctoral Associate (2021–2024) collaborating with Anne Lacaton and Jean-Philippe Vassal.
