Catherine Graeve

Catherine Graeve is an Associate Professor and Program Director for the Nursing - BSN (CFA) program at the College for Adults. She specializes in global health, community health, mental health, and holistic care of older adults. Her nursing practice includes roles in hospice care, oncology, bone marrow transplant, and public health. She currently mentors the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments (ANHE) and serves on the policy committee for the Minnesota Cancer Alliance.

• Education: PhD in Environmental and Occupational Health Nursing, MPH, RN certifications.

Her research focuses on environmental health impacts from fetal development onward and workplace safety in healthcare, particularly chemotherapy safety protocols. Her dissertation led to a state-level work group on this issue. She emphasizes welcoming nursing students to the profession through mentorship and advocacy.
