Catherine Botting is a Lecturer in Leadership and Organisational Change at the University of York's School for Business and Society, joining in January 2021. Her career spans academia and industry, including roles as a leader at GE, a Human Capital Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and 15 years running her own consultancy practice. She maintains strong industry ties, integrating practical experience with academic theory in her teaching and research.
Her research focuses on change management capabilities of consultants practicing Agile methodologies. Teaching roles include Module Leader for Leadership in Practice and co-leader of Business Planning and Sustainable Entrepreneurship. She also leads postgraduate modules on Contemporary Issues in Leadership and Leading Change.
