Catalina Popescu

Catalina Popescu is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics at Texas Tech University (TTU). She holds a Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on cultural memory in ancient literature, particularly in Ovid's Metamorphoses. She has taught at TTU since 2013 and has collaborated with the University of Bucharest, where she led workshops on Greek brides and Apuleius.
