Cassandra Marshall serves as an Associate Professor of Finance at the Robins School of Business, University of Richmond, where she has held the position of Co-Director for the Endeavor RSB living and learning program since 2020 and received the University of Richmond Distinguished Educator award in 2023.
Her academic credentials include:

- M.B. in Finance from Indiana University (2008)
- Ph.D. in Finance from Indiana University (2011)
Her research centers on empirical corporate finance, with specialized expertise in corporate governance structures, board director motivation systems, executive pay frameworks, securities fraud mechanisms, insider trading patterns, and oversight incentive design. This work bridges theoretical finance models with real-world regulatory and compliance challenges in modern capital markets.
