Cassandra Jamison is Assistant Professor in Experiential Engineering Education at Rowan University's Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering. Her research examines professional development in experiential/co-curricular settings, particularly for marginalized groups in engineering. She investigates skill valuation in biomedical engineering careers, entrepreneurial mindset development, and innovative teaching tools like soft robotics demonstrations.
She holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where she earned a certificate in Engineering Education. Her publications analyze resume-based skill assessment, REU program impacts, and low-cost pedagogical tools for robotics education. Current projects explore industry-academia integration through guest lectures and scalable professional development frameworks.
Professional memberships include ASEE and BMES. Her work bridges educational theory with practical implementation, emphasizing equity-focused engineering education reform.
