Carsten Strøby Jensen

Carsten Strøby Jensen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Copenhagen. He has held leadership roles including Head of Department (2006-2014) and Head of Ph.D. Study. His research focuses on Labour Market, Industrial Relations, European Integration, Political Sociology, Social Stratification, and Medical Sociology (particularly antimicrobial resistance governance). He contributes to cross-disciplinary projects like UC-CARE, addressing antibiotic use policies. His teaching includes Political Sociology, Social Differentiation, and European Union studies. He has supervised six PhD students and actively participates in international conferences, publishing widely in peer-reviewed journals and books.
