Dr. Carolyne King is an Assistant Professor of English at Old Dominion University, specializing in composition studies, rhetoric, and writing pedagogy. She holds a Ph.D. in English (Composition & Rhetoric) from the University of Delaware (2019), alongside advanced degrees in education leadership and theology. Her research focuses on reading practices in academic writing, disability studies in composition, and the role of writing centers in fostering critical literacy.
