Carolyn Horne

Carolyn Horne is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte), part of the College of Health and Human Services (CHESS). Her expertise focuses on cardiovascular disease management, symptom management strategies, and biofeedback interventions. She is recognized for developing a tactile desensitization protocol to address neuropathic pain in amputees and contributed to a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) on chronic wound care.
