Carolyn Goodin is an Assistant Professor of Nursing and Program Director for the Master of Science in Nursing program at Cumberland University's Jeanette C. Rudy School of Nursing and Health Professions. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing & Healthcare Leadership from East Tennessee State University/Tennessee Technological University, an MSN in Nursing Education, a BSN in Nursing, and an A.S. degree.
Her clinical expertise spans Medical-Surgical Nursing, Medical Rehabilitation, Family Practice, Home Health Nursing, Wound Care, and Vascular Access. She is a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and Forensic Nurse, emphasizing patient advocacy in her practice and teaching. Dr. Goodin actively contributes to professional organizations, serving as President of the TN Nurses Association District 9 and holding memberships in the American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau, and Sigma Alpha Lambda.
