Caroline Sullivan is a full-time Professor in the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ottawa, where she has been teaching since 2007. Her academic role is teaching-intensive, focusing on clinical psychology education at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She supervises doctoral students in clinical practicum with children, youth, and families.

Her research during her doctoral studies focused on anxiety in preschool children. Though she does not conduct active research or run a lab, her expertise lies in clinical training and intervention. Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as PSY5607 (Intervention and Consultation in Psychology), PSY6022 (Internship in Clinical Psychology), PSY4105 (Psychological Disorders in Children and Adolescents), and PSY3123 (Psychology of the Family).
Dr. Sullivan is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of The Child, Adolescent, and Family Centre of Ottawa (CAFCO-CEAFO), a bilingual, multidisciplinary mental health clinic established in 2014. CAFCO provides evidence-based mental health services to children, youth, and families in the Ottawa-Gatineau region and serves as a training site for professional students from the University of Ottawa. The clinic includes licensed psychologists, neuropsychologists, social workers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and psychotherapists specializing in child mental health.
