UnivProf.Dr. Caroline Sportleder is a Professor at the Institute of Computer Science at the University of Göttingen. She holds additional roles including Head of Digital Humanities, Managing Director of the Göttingen Centre for Digital Humanities, and Teacher in the Department of German Linguistics and Department of German Philology. She is also a Member in Secondary Membership at the Center for Statistics.

Her research focuses on computational semantics, discourse processing, and digital language analysis. She teaches advanced courses such as Advanced Topics in Language and Text Processing, Computational Semantics and Discourse Processing, and Python Programming for Humanities and Social Sciences Students. Her projects include the DH Project on Text and Language and Research Project Digital Language Analysis.
