Caroline Mbinkar is a Visiting Fellow in Law at University College and the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford. A distinguished barrister from Cameroon, she is internationally recognized for her human rights advocacy and research on the Cameroon conflict.
Her expertise spans Human Rights Law, International Law, and Conflict Resolution, with acute focus on State Violence in Cameroon. As Co-Investigator and Lead Advisor for the "Voices from the Cameroon Conflict" project under the Cameroon Conflict Research Group, she bridges academic research with real-world legal intervention.
Caroline co-founded ALL for Cameroon—a pro bono law chambers supported by Allen & Overy—providing free legal assistance to marginalized communities. Through its student law clinic, she supervises trainees from Cameroon, Belgium, France, Nigeria, the UK, the USA, and Zimbabwe, fostering global legal education.
Her advocacy extends to critical analyses like the blog post "Black Lives Matter – Our complicity in state violence in Cameroon," linking international movements to localized conflicts and emphasizing systemic accountability.
