Caroline Mbinkar is a Visiting Fellow in Law at the University of Oxford, affiliated with University College and the Faculty of Law. A distinguished barrister from Cameroon, she is internationally recognized for her human rights advocacy and conflict resolution work, particularly regarding the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon.
Her research focuses on:

Ms. Mbinkar co-founded ALL for Cameroon—a pro bono law chambers supported by Allen & Overy—providing free legal assistance to marginalized groups. She supervises a global student law clinic training participants from Cameroon, Belgium, France, Nigeria, the UK, USA, and Zimbabwe. As Co-Investigator and Lead Advisor for the 'Voices from the Cameroon Conflict' project, she analyzes the 2017 Anglophone conflict's root causes and humanitarian impacts through the Oxford-based Cameroon Conflict Research Group.
Since her 2011 admission to the Cameroon Bar, she has handled hundreds of pro bono cases annually for prisoners, victims of widow dispossession, pastoral land-rights claimants, and child trafficking survivors. Her international work includes high-profile UN petition cases, demonstrating her commitment to systemic justice reform beyond national courts.
