Caroline Kennedy-Pipe is a Professor of War Studies at Loughborough University. Previously, she held professorial roles at the University of Warwick, University of Hull, and Sheffield University. Her research focuses on Arctic Security, Cold War legacies, and contemporary conflicts, with notable work on Russia, drone warfare, and gendered dimensions of conflict. She holds a First-Class Honours Degree in History, an MSc in Strategic Studies, and a D-Phil in International Relations.

Her advisory roles include Visiting Fellow at Oxford’s Rothermere Institute (2018) and Specialist Advisor to the House of Commons Defence Committee (2018-2019). Professional memberships include the Mackinder Forum, emphasizing geopolitical strategy.
