معرفی
Carolina Tamborini is a post-doctoral researcher in complex algebraic geometry at the University of Duisburg-Essen, affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics and part of Daniel Greb's research group. Her work focuses on moduli spaces of curves and Abelian varieties, Hodge theory, and the interplay between algebraic geometry and topology.
- Education
- Ph.D. in Mathematics (2018-2022), University of Pavia (joint program Milan Bicocca-Pavia-INdAM)
- M.Sc in Mathematics (2015-2018), University of Pavia
- B.Sc in Mathematics (2013-2016), University of Pavia
Her research explores non-tautological cycles in moduli spaces, holomorphic forms, and geometric constructions of Galois covers. Recent work also addresses theta bundles, Quillen metrics, and symmetric spaces in Shimura varieties. Publications span journals such as Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society and Communications in Mathematical Physics.
Collaborations with prominent mathematicians like Alessandro Ghigi, Indranil Biswas, and Daniel Greb highlight her contributions to algebraic geometry and Hodge theory. She has previously held post-doctoral positions at Utrecht University (2022-2023).
