Carolina Antonini is a co-founding partner at Antonini & Cohen Immigration Law Group and an adjunct professor at Georgia State University College of Law since 2004. A native of Venezuela, she immigrated to the U.S. in 1979 and earned her B.A. and J.D. from Georgia State University. She is the first Latina judge to sit on the bench in Georgia’s history (2001-2006) and a co-founding member of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association.

Research and Professional Focus: Antonini specializes in immigration law, deportation defense, asylum/human rights, family immigration, and consular issues. She also contributes to legal education through her textbook Introduction to Georgia Law and community seminars.

Media and Community Engagement: Antonini hosts a weekly Spanish-language radio show on immigration law, appears on CNN and NPR programs, and provides expert commentary to Atlanta-area newspapers on immigration policy. She has also served on the Georgia Supreme Court Commission on Interpreters.
