Carole W Hoy serves as the Assistant Dean of Assessment and Clinical Experiences at Saint Joseph’s University and holds an adjunct role in the Department of Educational Leadership, Counseling, and Social Work. With over 37 years of experience in PK-12 education, she has held roles including elementary principal, middle/high school assistant principal, and art teacher before transitioning to higher education administration.
- Education: EdD in Education from Saint Joseph’s University (2009)
Her expertise focuses on curriculum development, accreditation processes, certification programs, and fostering partnerships between the university and local schools/communities. She actively supports student-centered teaching aligned with the Jesuit mission of ethical leadership and social responsibility. Dr. Hoy also serves on the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Teacher Education (PAC-TE) board as a private college representative.
