Carol Wincenc is a Grammy-nominated Professor of Flute at The Juilliard School and Stony Brook University. As an internationally acclaimed flutist, she has premiered over 100 works and performed with major orchestras like the London Symphony Orchestra and Chicago Symphony, specializing in contemporary and classical flute repertoire. Her career spans 50+ years of solo performance, chamber music collaboration (e.g., with the Emerson Quartet), and editing projects like the Carol Wincenc 21st Century Series for Flute.

As a renowned pedagogue, she mentors students who hold prominent orchestral and academic positions globally.
