Carol Rosing serves as the Bassoon Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and as the Bassoon Instructor at Beloit College. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Bassoon Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and advanced degrees from the Manhattan School of Music. Her professional affiliations include principal/second bassoon roles in orchestras such as the Oshkosh Symphony, Madison Symphony, and Wisconsin Wind Orchestra, with extensive international performance experience.

Research interests focus on bassoon pedagogy, chamber music collaboration, and orchestral performance techniques. Labs/Teams: Actively performs with the Oshkosh Symphony, Madison Symphony, Wisconsin Wind Orchestra, and numerous chamber ensembles across North America and Europe.
