Carol Propper is a Professor of Economics at Imperial College Business School's Department of Economics and Public Policy. She holds an adjunct professorship at Monash University. Her research focuses on healthcare economics, public sector incentives, and the impact of economic conditions on health outcomes. She has held leadership roles including Vice Dean for Faculty and Research at Imperial Business School (2016–2019), and served on key UK and international boards such as the ESRC Research Grants Board and President of the Royal Economic Society.
