- PhD in Medicine, University of Sydney (Children’s Hospital at Westmead)
- Postdoctoral Fellowship at UCSD (American Heart Association)
Her research focuses on using tissue culture models and AAV technology to study molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases such as Motor Neuron Disease, Frontotemporal Dementia, and Alzheimer’s. Recent work emphasizes protein pathology in ALS/FTD and tau-related mechanisms. Collaborations span international institutions, with publications in journals like Neuron and Cells.
