Dr Carmen Levick is a Senior Lecturer in Theatre at the School of English, University of Sheffield, where she has been a faculty member since 2009. She previously taught drama at University College Dublin (2007–2009). Her research focuses on heritage studies, Holocaust and Jewish studies, memory and trauma studies, postcolonial and decolonial studies, and contemporary European theatre. She leads a project examining Holocaust commemoration and post-communist remembrance in Eastern Europe, particularly through digital museum practices.

Her recent work explores digital interpretation in museums and competing trauma narratives in post-communist Romania. Levick welcomes PhD applications in memory studies, performance studies, Holocaust studies, and contemporary European theatre.
